Traditional Reels by Band Activity

Band Activity is a duo of Liverpool based musicians Flowers and Templeton.

 
Their music is constructed using a mixture of found material usually sourced from old cassette tapes. Source material has included traditional indigenous and folk music, horror sound effects, amateur comedy club recordings and lectures alongside original live material and studio recordings.

Realised as a form of sound collage, the music evolves out of a period of freeform experimentation and is influenced by the textures, rhythms and aesthetics of psychedelia, dub techno, electronica and krautrock.
